Nearshore in Morocco: five questions to ask before signing

Morocco has become a development base for European companies. Proximity, skills and language are real advantages. But not all providers are equal. Here are five questions to ask before signing.

1. Who owns the code?

The contract should state that the code, documentation and access belong to you. Check where the code is hosted and who has access to it.

2. Which language does the team work in?

A developer who understands the need in French or English saves weeks. Ask to meet the people who will work on your project.

3. How is your data protected?

Non-disclosure agreements, named access, separation of test and production environments. A serious provider answers precisely.

4. Can the team grow or shrink?

Your needs will change. The right partner can add profiles quickly and reduce the team without unreasonable penalties.

5. Can you start with a pilot?

A short mission with a concrete result lets you judge the collaboration before a long commitment. Be wary of projects that start with a multi-year contract and no test.

At betahard, we propose exactly that: start with a pilot. See our nearshore service.
